FLEX group

Intense EUV-X sources allow the development of innovative, multidisciplinary and pioneer applications. It is possible to produce by means of a laser plasma interaction beams of EUV and X radiation that can be coherent or not presenting original and singular properties. The activity of the FLEX group is based in this research field. The group studies mainly the physics of laser-mater interaction with intense and ultrafast laser systems in order to produce EUV, X and gamma radiation sources. It is also focused on the development of instruments that will allow radiation characterization and that can be used experimentally in experiments like atomic temporal resolved femtosecond dynamics, phase contrast imaging, XUV holography and many more. Globally FLEX's scientific activity is based on tree interdependent research areas:
